Period Property Renovation
Where your Lincrusta has been damaged, or your pre-1939 Lincrusta design is no longer in production, it is possible to take a mould from a good area to replicate a panel and replace or repair the damage. This is useful when considering renovating a period property where some features will likely be damaged or missing due to re-modelling. Perhaps you wish to block up a doorway, but want to keep your original dado panels and you need to fill the gap - as in the example above.
Other similar historic high relief wall or ceiling designs such as Anaglypta, Cordelova, Cameoid, Lignomur, Tynecastle Tapestry, can be replicated, repaired and restored in the same way.
The same mould making technique is also useful when layers of paint over the years has made the relief detail less pronounced and partial replacement with a section of new Lincrusta would be very obvious. Contact us for more information.
